HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO BOOK? The price you'll be quoted depends on various factors including the location and performance times, from £225.00. All prices quoted include mileage. Additionally, wedding prices can be per 'stage' of the day, e.g. the drinks reception, wedding breakfast etc. but you can also request a time-based price. If you're keen to keep to a budget, you need to be selective with distractions which you will see in wedding magazines and at wedding fairs. I know as well as you how frustrating planning a wedding and keeping costs down can be, which extras work and which are merely expensive frivolities. Booking me, a tried and tested wedding musician, is not a gamble and will always be a favourite for you and your wedding guests.
WHERE AM I BASED AND HOW FAR DO I TRAVEL? I live on the North/West Yorkshire boundary and only 7 miles from Lancashire. I will travel up to 100 miles from my home base, but if I consider that travel costs make the price excessive, I will advise you accordingly.
HOW TO BOOK Once you accept my fee and we agree all relevant details, you will be sent a booking form to complete and return by email. I will then post your contract (weddings only), signed and dated, in duplicate; one for you to sign, date and return, the other copy for your records.
WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE? A non-returnable deposit of £50.00 is required with your booking, and the balance is due 2 weeks before the date of your wedding or event. Any variation on these terms will be discussed at the time of booking and stated on the booking form.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DOES TIM USE? I have a Yamaha tower PA system which allows for a good quality sound-level indoors and out. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SET UP? I allow myself an hour before the start time, to set up the equipment and to tune up.
WHAT ABOUT PAT TESTING AND PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE? All electrical items are either PAT tested or still under guarantee. I have full Public Liability Insurance through the Musicians Union. Copies of the PAT certificates/product guarantees and PLI certificate can be provided if required by your venue.
HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED? An area of ideally 3 m2 is required to avoid being squashed.
SAME-SEX WEDDINGS I'm is registered with gay wedding sites and am pleased to support LGBTQ weddings and events.
